South Knoll is an English Tourist Board 3-star rated cottage dating from 1790 and is built of flint and brick. It is located in Cley-next-the-Sea overlooking the church. The village has an excellent smokery, a famous delicatessen and a post office, also a windmill, a pottery, an interesting gallery and bookshop, two pubs and teashops. There is a beautiful perpendicular wool church at the front of the house. Along the coast and salt marshes there is extremely good bird watching. Accommodation: Spacious light sitting room with oak beams and an open fire. Large well equipped kitchen/dining room. Three bedrooms: One with double bed, and two with twin beds. The whole cottage is comfortably and simply furnished. Outside: There is a sunny, private walled garden with a lawn and paving for a table, chairs and barbecue. There is also a covered well. French windows from the conservatory open onto the garden.
