APARTMENT DETAILS From Tenerife South Airport, Reina Sofia, Palm Mar is a short ten minute taxi drive along the motorway at a cost of about 12 to 15€. As you enter Palm Mar you see immediately why one of the most scenic and beautiful villages is still such a secret as you can not pass through Palm Mar unless you are going there, yet is it just a 10 minute drive to the big resorts of Los Cristianos and Las Americas. You really have everything you need though in Palm Mar with a huge, protected nature reserve..great for walkers and nature lovers, a natural beach with fishing , diving or just sunbathing options.. You wont find any nightclubs, discos or lager louts, in fact in the evening you may feel quiet alone on the terrace and it is one of the few places in the south of Tenerife where you can listen to nature.. There are though a couple of good minimarkets and a handful of nice restaraunts, bars, coffee shops , car rentals, and even a bank with atm machine 1 minute from Cape Salema. Cape Salema is a new construction and was completed just 2.5years ago and has been lived in only a year and a half. There is an excellent pool, a childrens pool as well as quiet gardens and 3 lifts and disabled access. On the 4th floor is our apartment with sea views and the mountain at the rear of the apartment, the front terrace looks over the pool and is equipped with table and chairs and a sun lounger. The washing machine is also located here. All the furniture is new, modern and comfortable and the apartment is equipped with everything you will need as we have left all our own furnishings, so whether its an iron and iron boarding, candles and quality wine glasses for a romantic evening or a chess board..its all there ! You will be greeted by Nieves who will have cleaned the apartment that day and will be there to say good bye and on hand for anything that comes up during your stay. Car hire, theatre tickets, excursion advice, restaurant tips can be also be provided so you enjoy the holiday you desire with help from people who have lived in the island many years.. Bedroom There is one bedroom with a double bed, 2 bedside cabinets, a dressing table and ample built in wardrobes…even lots of coathangers for a change! All bed linen and towels are provided and as the bedroom is at the back of the house with just a mountain behind you , you will certainly enjoy a great nights sleep! Bathroom The modern bathroom has a wc, sink, vanity units and a large walk in shower..plenty hot water! Lounge, Dining Area, Kitchen The American kitchen is equipped with everything youll need to eat well, including large fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, coffee maker and a big selection of pans, cutlery, plates etc.. There is a work area with worktable and big leather chair if you’ve brought any work anyway with you!! The dining table sits 6 and there are 6 matching chairs. In the lounger area you have a modern and comfortable leather L shaped sofa which also converts into a surprisingly comfortable double bed at night. Also a coffee table, cabinets and storage space and a colour tv..only Spanish.. If you require a dvd, home cinema then that is available with a deposit and charge of 10 euros a week. You will find because of the location of the apartment, that it can be 100 degrees outside but you will not feel hot inside, however there is an excellent ceiling fan if you do. Terrace The terrace is small but has excellent views over the pool, Palm Mar and the mountains and a partial sea view..There is a table and chairs for 4, washing machine and sunlounger….weve had parties with 10 on the terrace!
