Canal Boat Escapes are a family run narrowboat holiday hire company based on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal close to the Lancashire and Yorkshire borders. The Leeds Liverpool Canal remains a hidden gem of the waterways. There is arguably one of the most scenic stretches of canal in the UK from the top of Bank Newton locks overlooking the Yorkshire Dales, crossing the Lancashire border near Greenberfield locks in to Barnoldswick The splendid undulating moorland spreads all around as the canal twists along the contours of the hillside and offers stunning views of the rugged Pennine landscape. We aim to provide a first class boating holiday experience, whether it is a romantic short break or an extended cruising holiday. GRACE is a luxury 58' narrow boat sleeping up to 4 people designed to provide the perfect holiday for couples and families alike. GENEVIEVE is a semi-traditional narrowboat sleeping up to 6. Like Grace she has fully central heating but also benefits from added luxuries such as a microwave and solid fuel stove.
