Azores islands were considered by National Geographic Magazine as one of the 10 best islands for holidays The Azores islands consist of nine islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean midway from America and Europe. Quinta das Acácias is a tourist accommodation facility with several cottages throughout the beautifully manicured gardens. What was once a rock quarry, today it boasts a magnificent garden filled with color and a multitude of trees, ranging from fruit bearing to several varieties of acácias. Our facility is self-catering. Each cottage averages an area of 50 square meters. They are 1 bedroom units (double bed or two single beds), with kitchen (fully equipped) and living area. The units are designed to comfortably accommodate 1 to 3 adults, utilizing the sofa bed or the day beds in the living area. On the outdoors, each unit has its own space for lounging and relaxation, with table and chairs, lounger, and a traditional wood burning barbecue. At the Quinta, we encourage our guests to venture the grounds and experience the pleasurable moments that our little paradise has to offer. Due to the rural location of the Quinta, we advise all our guests to consider renting a car during their visit.
