Two luxury country cottages named "1210" and "1243" are located in the grounds of the Lavender Garden Tea Rooms overlooking the landscaped gardens. Both cottages (suitable for 1 couple in each) are named after two well known New South Wales heritage steam locomotives and blend in with other railway history and memorabilia at the Tea Rooms including the original 1884 Lake Bathurst Waiting Room now used as a small museum. Completed in February 2003 the cottages offer self-contained, private accommodation ideal for a special country escape or romantic getaway. Both are spacious with large ensuite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens (fridge/freezer, microwave, cook top), TV, gas heating and ceiling fans. The sleeping area in "1210" has a queen-size bed, "1243" has two single beds, all complete with linen and electric blankets. Covered verandahs, with gas barbecues, provide magnificent views across the rural landscape and the perfect place to unwind. Complimentary breakfast basket is provided on the first morning with cereals, bread, jams, tea and coffee.
