The house is situated in a quiet residential area that is famous in Yalikavak for its artistic residents. Bougainvillaea Villa is 50 metres from the seashore, and a 15 minutes leisurely stroll (or less than 5 minutes in a car or dolmus – the local bus service) to the centre of the village and the main beach area. The house has magnificent views out to sea, a perfect place to watch the sun setting over Yalikavak. The house is spread over three floors plus a rooftop terrace. On the street level as you enter the house, you will find an L-shaped lounge flowing into a fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer, and gas cooker and oven. There is also a breakfast bar area. The lounge, which overlooks the sea, is relaxing and comfortable, with sofas and chairs arranged around a large coffee table. To entertain you, there is a stereo with cd & tape cassette, a small selection of children’s games and books. Leading outside from the lounge area, is a large wrap-around terrace, looking out to sea, with a large wooden table and chairs and a three-seater swinging chair – a perfect place to relax and unwind. There is also a cloakroom on this level. The second floor is reached via a marble staircase, where there are two double bedrooms, both tastefully decorated and with fantastic views over the sea and pool. The main bedroom has a double bed, two spacious double wardrobes, bedside cabinets, and a dressing table with mirror. There is also a balcony leading from this bedroom. The second bedroom has two single beds and a large wardrobe with drawer space. Also on this floor is a large bathroom, with fully enclosed shower, WC and basin. The basin has a mirror and lighting above it, together with a shaver point and mains electricity socket. The bathroom also stores the plumbed-in washing machine. A further flight up finds you on the rooftop terrace for the best views of all over Yalikavak, two views of the Aegean Sea, and far in the distance the town of Didim. Taking you down the stairs to the lower level, you will find a second large lounge area, equipped with two large sofas, two comfy armchairs, a coffee table and flat-screen television. There’s also a DVD player. Both sofas convert into two large sofa beds. The Pool Room gives guests wonderful views over the pool area and the sea. There is an ante room off the lounge with a double wardrobe, and beyond that a fully tiled bathroom, with a bath, shower, WC and handbasin. … and leaving the best to last is the 7 x 4 metres private swimming pool, which has inbuilt steps leading down into the water that has a constant depth of 1.6 metres. There is a large barbecue on the terrace.
