Daisy Cottage is a comfortable, newly renovated 150 year old house in the centre of the village. We have a private paved and covered patio with seating and tables for 10 and a BBQ. The private, walled orchard garden adjoins the covered patio. As Daisy Cottage is also our own holiday home we have furnished and fitted it to supply most if not all the needs of a family or group. The beds are fitted with good quality matresses and bedding and the towels are all pure white and of good quality. There are fire alarms fitted for your safety and the house has been completely rewired too. DOWNSTAIRS (GROUND FLOOR) The front door is at ground level and there is a ramp to the back door (for those with limited mobility). LIVING ROOM With open fire and comfortable sofas. We have SKY TV on our flat screen TV and a DVD player (with DVDs for adults and children). There is a CD player with lots of CDs to chose from. There are plenty of books and board games too. We have a wii console (bring your own games). KITCHEN/DINER The kitchen/diner is large and spacious with a table that easily seats 10 guests. The diner area also has an electric stove for cosy evening dining together with a CD player, DVD player and TV. The kitchen are is very well stocked with everything the cook could need including: large American style side by side fridge with ice dispenser and chilled filter water dispenser, granite worktops, electric hob, fan assisted oven, dishwasher, microwave, lots of cooking utensils, high quality knives with a magnetic strip to keep them away from children, catering style chopping boards, cooking pans, a wok, frying pans, lots of white, matching dishes, all sorts of glasses (wine, beer, soda, champagne, Irish coffee, etc.), toasted sandwich maker, 4 slice toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine (together with lots of coffee equipment including an electric grinder, frother, espresso jug, etc.), baking tins and trays, serving dishes, and lots more. DOWNSTAIRS DOUBLE BEDROOM WITH EN SUITE The downstairs bedroom has a double bed (with electric blanket). The en suite is a spacious wet room with shower, loo and wash hand basin. Guests who require it can use the grab rail which can be taken down beside the loo and a shower chair. UTILITY AREA There is a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes airer, ironing board, iron, pegs (for the outdoor washing line). UPSTAIRS (FIRST FLOOR) There are four bedrooms and a separate bathroom upstairs: MASTER BEDROOM & EN SUITE With king size bed (with electric blanket) and en suite shower room with shower, loo and wash hand basin. DOUBLE BEDROOM & EN SUITE With double bed and en suite shower room with shower, loo and wash hand basin. TWIN BEDDED ROOM With two adult size single beds TWIN BEDDED ROOM With two adult size single beds BATHROOM With bath, wash hand basin and loo OUTSIDE Games Loft with pool/air hockey table, darts board, and football table. LARGE COVERED PATIO The large covered patio has tables and seating for ten guests. SMALL PATIO There is a separate small patio area with a table and seating for 2 guests. LARGE ORCHARD GARDEN The garden is walled and private and has apple trees. It adjoins the large covered patio area. OFF STREET PARKING There is parking for two or three cars off street and parking is allowed on main street at the front of Daisy Cottage. BABY/CHILD GUESTS We welcome and cater very well for children and baby guests. For our baby guests we supply (on request) any of the following: - travel cot (there are 2 available) - pushchair/stroller - sturdy high chair - baby seat - baby gates - socket covers - electric steam steriliser - baby/child plates, bowls, cups and cutlery - baby potty - changing mat - baby walker FOR CHILDREN We supply DVDs, books, building blocks, beach toys, bats and balls, etc. OTHER EXTRAS We also supply: - a good quality hairdryer in each bedroom - beach towels - cold boxes and ice blocks - fishing rods (2).
