Printers Court is one of the most attractive of the many splendid properties that are found on historic Cheap Street, the main thoroughfare that winds through the centre of Sherborne. Printers Court was originally built in 1842, although it has a Georgian appearance and its most distinctive features are a splendid curved window and a balcony that runs the length of the building. Historic photos show these balconies were very popular on Cheap Street 15 in the 19th Century but today few survive. Both the splendid window and the balcony belong in their entirety to Flat 3 so you can relax on the balcony, enjoying your coffee looking down on the comings and goings below, (including the market on Thursdays and Saturdays) and admiring the splendid buildings up and down Cheap St. We have 2 properties to rent in this building. Both have 2 bedrooms and sleep up to 6 guests (when using a double Sofa-bed). Our third rental is located nearby in a terraced period property. It has two bedrooms and sleeps 3-4. All of our apartments have a television with Freeview, DVD/VHS player, a plentiful collection of DVDs, video tapes and books and an interesting collection of framed mountain and travel prints.
