The apartment is situated in an upmarket private holiday complex in a quiet area close to the much busier main resort of Puerto del Carmen, called Matagorda. There are stunning views across the island and out to sea from the complex due to its elevated position. Particularly good quality comfortable accommodation for a couple with a good sized bedroom with a king size bed, large bathroom with double walk-in shower, dining table and chairs and an attractive lounge area with sofa and coffee table. There is a flat screen TV with English channels BBC1, BBC2, ITV etc plus satelitte. There a kitchen area with a variety of mod cons. (NB There is a double sofa bed in the lounge offering the opportunity to sleep additional adults or one/two children.) There is unlimited wireless connection in the apartment for anyone wishing to take their laptop on holiday to keep in touch.This is free to our visitors. The complex is gated. It has a distinctive entrance through which you are greeted with an attractive reception area with comfortable chairs. tables, vending machines and internet access via a computer terminal. Passing through this area and out to the rear of the reception area, you are welcomed into the main complex, which takes you to the apartments and the pool areas.You can take advantage of the comfort in the reception area, if you are waiting for a taxi or want to simply relax in the cool whilst you wait to meet friends before an evening out. The complex has attractively shaped solar-heated pools including one for children. There are vast very well maintained tropical gardens. The vast Matagorda beaches and sea are a few minutes walk away. A good selection of restaurants, bars, cafes etc are also only a few minutes walk away. There are spacious areas for sunbathing and relaxing in the complexd and a plentiful supply of complimentary sunbeds around the patio and pool areas. Our apartment is right by the pool - set slightly to one side providing a little privacy from the pool 'action' and a little peace if you are sitting on the apartment’s patio having a quiet drink! An envious position indeed. The property has two sunny patios! Great for the day time and really important if you want to extend your day by winding-down with a drink on the patio during the early evening hours. In addition to the patio extending from the main accommodation there is a further extended patio area at the front, belonging to the property, bordered by a small low-walled garden. The apartment's patio area has table and chairs for you to spend as much time as possible enjoying the outside atmosphere. It overlooks garden areas of the main complex which are planted with tropical trees and plants and even a lemon tree. The complex is very well maintained. This is reflected by active management to ensure a high quality environment at all times. IS THIS PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR DISABLED PEOPLE? NB The complex has parking directly outside. It is flat througout the complex and the apartment is on the groundfloor and is on one level throughout, It has not however got enlarged doorways.
