The cottage is situated on a small lake called Pool Lake. It is 12 k.m.s from the nearest town of Sundridge. There are only 12 cottages on the lake and you cannot reach it by car. You need to park your vehicle at a parking lot and take a 12 foot aluminium boat with a 8 h.p.motor across the lake. This boat is yours for your private use for the week.There is also a canoe. Life jackets are provided as well as a full tank of gas. The cottage has 2 bedrooms inside, one with a double bed, the other, 3 single bunks. It also has a seperate sleep cabin with a double bed. All beds have duvets and pillows. You need to bring your own linens and towels but these can be provided for an additional fee. There is only an outhouse but this has electricity and the path is lit.There is a shower at one end of the cottage enclosed but with a wonderful view of the lake. The kitchen has all amenities. Full size fridge and small beer fridge, microwave, coffee pot, stove top elements ( no oven) all pots pans dishes cutlery. Very well equipped kitchen. There is a separate living room; 2 couches chairs stereo with c.d. player electric fireplace. There is a huge deck with a table with umbrella for dining out. Propane barbecue. Has 8 lawn chairs a couple of lounge chairs, hammock. There is a fire pit by the water for evening fires, wood's included. There's a large dock and swimming is wonderful. Wonderful bird watching as well as deer and moose. A nature lovers paradise.
