There are three good Turkish restaurants in Ovacik. Dinner is served on low tables seating - very large cushions almost horizontal. Entertainment take the form of Belly Dancing. In Fethiye you will also find a good selection of Restaurants serving typical cuisine at a fraction of the cost of some of the more touristy biased restaurants.
About Walking
There are many interesting walks in the area. The most famous "The Lycian Walk" starts on the outskirts of Ovacik and nearby by Hisaronu. It is possible to walk to many nearby resorts including Olu Deniz which takes 20 minutes - slightly longer on the way back climbing up a very steep incline
