At the end of a beautiful valley, 8km beyond Daintree Village, lies this peaceful 30-acre haven. 3 modern, private self-contained bungalows overlook rainforest, dam, tropical gardens and walking trails. Two have Queen beds and convertable sofa for a third guest, one has a King/Twin plus sofa. Air-conditioning, ceiling fans, insect-screens, ensuite bathrooms with large shower, kitchenette with cooktop, microwave, fridge, cooking utensils, timber dining setting and lounge area and private verandah. A daily tropical breakfast basket is delivered the previous afternoon, and includes tropical fruits, home-made and local products. Other self-cook meals and drinks are available. Designed for couples, or a maximum of three (no facilities for children under 12) the bungalows are perfect for that romantic getaway or a quiet interlude during a busy holiday. It's a haven for nature-lovers with over 130 species of seasonal birds, butterflies, wallabies, bandicoots and the occasional Cassowary. Peace and tranquility - no mobile phone reception but if you need to keep in touch free wifi is available in the communal barbeque and jacuzzi area in The Shed. Far from the city hustle and bustle yet within a short drive of Daintree Village, Mossman Gorge, Cape Tribulation, Port Douglas and the Atherton Tablelands.
