The Nook is a 16th Century, former captain's cottage, offering a convenient location and luxurious, stylish accommodation. Set in the famous White Horse Yard in the shadow of Whitby's magnificent 13th century Abbey, you can find all the comfort and amenities you could want for a truly enjoyable stay. Sleeping up to six people we have two double bedrooms, one wih a beautiful oak sleigh bed, the other an attic room with views of the Whale Bones and Captain Cook's monument on West cliff. There is also a children's room with full sized bunk beds and its own TV, VCR, video selection, Playstation 2 (and games), board games and books. There is a comfortable and spacious L-shaped lounge and dining area with beamed ceiling and patio doors that lead out onto an enclosed private courtyard garden.
