About Parks

Glenlivet in the Cairngorms National Park is a wonderful area for wildlife viewing. The range is from Reindeer, Red deer and roe deer to red squirrels and foxes. The birds are equally fascinating with sightings of the golden eagle, but more common are buzzards, kestrels and red kites along with oystercatchers, curlews and lapwings. The landscape varies from rolling farmland across the heather clad moors to the high mountain ranges and includes 2 ski areas at the Lecht and Cairngorm. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty, wonderful to walk in and to photograph.

About Walking

The Cairngorms National Park is a great area for walking with way marked trails on the Glenlivet Estate varying in length from 2 to 16 miles. There are river walks, moorland walks and walks in the hills and mountains. The variety of scenery and wildlife to be seen on the walks is superb.
