The house is in an unparallelled position in the foothills of the Majella mountains yet is also on its own hill. It is 30 minutes from Pescara airport, beaches and ski resort. Rome is a two hour drive away from the nearby motorway. Because of its location, beautiful views of mountains, plains, valleys and far off Pescara can be seen from every room, even whilst still in bed! The new roof terrace, with table seating for 6, offers almost 360 degree views to accompany your breakfast or evening meal, and you can watch the sun setting on the Gran Sasso, highest peak in the Appenines. The house is simply furnished yet with all the essentials. The kitchen is newly fitted with a table for dining. Washing machine is separate. Sitting room offers books, games and cassette player. Two bedrooms have new metal frame kingsize beds and open onto balconies through large window doors. The third bedroom (ensuite) is reached via the internal spiral staircase and has a kingsize bed and two put up beds, and from it one looks through the floor to ceiling window onto the roof terrace with its own outside table, and the Gran Sasso mountain. The large patio with swimming pool has its own table to seat 6-8 people. The steep garden, reached via steps from the patio, has olive, walnut, cherry and fig trees.
