When entering the cottage you go through a small hallway into the lounge, which contains a sofa bed, 2 poang chairs, a TV with a DVD and VCR player. Also in the lounge there is a breakfast table and a gas fire. Across from the lounge is the kitchen which has all the usual ameneties (microwave, oven with hobs, fridge, washing machine - the dryer is in the seperate utility room). Proceeding up the stairs takes you to the two bedrooms and bathroom. Both of the bedrooms are twin rooms, and the bathroom has a bath/shower. The utility room has 3 bikes that may be used, a garden table and chairs and the dryer.

About Weather/Climate/Temperature

The Isle of Tiree is the most westerly island of the Inner Hebrides. It is relatively small - about twelve miles long and three miles wide - and very flat. Although the name means 'the land of corn' it has been described variously as 'a raised beach' and 'the land below the waves'.

The island has some of the highest levels of sunshine recorded anywhere in the British Isles.
