About Weather/Climate/Temperature
There are numerous bars in Bad Gastein. They range from fancy hotel bars to traditional alpine hut bars on the mountains to clubs in the town. Favourites for me: The youth hostel (they have a great beer from Munich on tap), Haegbloms for Apre and the Kaiserstuble. But to many to list and most are open all through summer.
About Bars
In winter Bad Gastein is very lively. Plenty of good restaurants and bars. And clubs that stay open to early hours. Summer is more chilled. Restaurants are open however some of the bars do close but not the ones the local frequent !
About Nightlife
Traveling from Salzburg you have a number of options: Train (1.5hrs), Car / Winter shuttle service from airport (1hr). Munich would be an extra 90 mins drive away. Once in Bad Gastein there are regular buses and and in winter there is the Ski Bus service that can take you all over the valley to the various ski areas (It stops just up the road from my flat).

About Golfing
In summer there is an 18 hole course in the valley. The 9 closest to the town is very mature and tight (apparently was on of the first courses in Austria) with the newer nine slightly more open. Its a good test and the course is a decent length. Playing in summer with the backdrop of the mountains either side of you makes it a pretty spectacular experience. Clubhouse, driving range, pro on site... its a proper course !

Outside of the valley there are a few other courses which I haven't played so I cannot comment on those.
About Skiing
It is possible to fish in summer. You do however need a license and the best bet is to probably speak to one of the locals. I have details of a ski instructor who in the summer takes clients out hiking & climbing. He is also able to organise fishing and I could pass on details if required.
