Gascogne Holiday Cottage spectacular view to the Pyrenees "La Jeanne"  This beautiful rural property is situated on the outskirts of a small village yet just a short drive from the bustling market and popular tourist town of Aire Sur L'Adour. South facing La Jeanne is set on the borders of Gascony (Gers), Pyrenees Atlantiques and the Landes and offers some of the most stunning views in South West France.   The word "Gite" is used quite liberally in France and for some conjures up images of large complexes of renovated farmhouses, barns, cow sheds or cellars. La Jeanne is a completely self contained self catering holiday cottage comfortably accommodating up to six people. The cottage has recently been completely refurbished to the highest standard. What's inside ? The main door opens into a large fully fitted kitchen diner with exposed beams and tiled floor and leads into the bright lounge with a wooden staircase. Electric radiators and wood burner provide heating for winter nights. A hallway from the lounge gives access to a large double bedroom, a toilet, huge hand basin, hydrotherapy shower cubicle and an automatic washing machine. A door in the hallway allows access to the rear of the property and the private driveway. The wooden staircase from the lounge leads to the first floor which is a fabulous attic conversion. The mixture of the old and modern features creates a warm and stylish space and comprises 2 large double bedrooms separated by a 2nd lounge or further bedroom should the need arise. What's outside ? A private vehicle access and lawn large enough for tennis, large gravelled patio area with shrubs, flowered rockeries, fruit trees and a raised decked patio area with family sized above ground plunge pool. The patio is a real sun trap overlooking unspoilt valleys to the wine producing village of Saint-Mont.
