Large, bright and situated on the 1st floor of a three storey building, the apartment looks out on to a lovely tree lined courtyard. The studio is well secured, with a concierge and two door codes. The studio is 355 ft²/ 33 m² and has sliding panels to separate the studio into two areas – a bedroom and a living room. There is a double bed and also a comfortable stowaway single available upon request. When you hear the birds sing at dusk or dawn, you will find it hard to believe that you are right in the centre of the Latin Quarter, metres away from the famous Place de la Contrescarpe, and one of the oldest streets in Paris, Rue Mouffetard!! Jacques Brel wrote a song about “la Place de la Contrescape”, and Ernest Hemingway, James Joyce, Renée Descartes and Emile Zola lived in this tiny “village”.
