Blue Mountain Villa runs from 100% Solar Power. Harnessed from solar panels & directed into Rolls batteries which feed the household electrics & hot water. To keep energy consumption down to a minimum the entire house runs LED spotlights & gas cooking facilities which dramatically reduce our carbon footprint. The reason behind this project is to achieve a totally self sufficient villa but with the enjoyment of modern living. By using what mother earth has provided for us we can achieve a guilt free experience and feel more connected to the environment around us. There is something quite unique about living in a eco house that provides you with the luxuries of a resort/modern villa. Not to mention the sense of achievement that comes with growing and picking, cooking and eating some of your ingredients straight from the earth. Blue Mountain Villa is a newly constructed, spacious five bedroom contemporary eco-villa set at the foot of the Mijas mountain range overlooking the tranquil Andalusian country side. The five bedrooms, four doubles and one single, all fitted with wind up iPods can comfortably sleep ten people with sofa beds for more. All bedrooms have en-suit bathrooms comprising two with spa baths & three with multi jet power showers. The master bedroom has a terrace overlooking the valley towards the sea. The living area is a large open plan space with lounge, dining, office, piano & open fire place are all set neatly within this area. You can walk out, via 3 sets of French doors to the south terrace & pool. The lounge it is fully equipped with an entertainment system, TV, DVD, SAT, projector, sound system & fifty DVD’s to choose from. Should you need to take care of business there is a micro office with scanner printer, G5 laptop with a full entourage of the latest audio/visual editing software & business tools as well as wifi access through out. The dining area can seat eight people comfortably & has a solid marble table that opens out to the lounge & kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher & washing machine. Terraces surround the property to the north & there is a parking bay that steps down to the front door. On the west is the climbing area for children & a seven hole putting green. On the east terrace is the fruit & vegetable plantation growing tomatoes, peppers, herbs & food for all. Finally the south terrace has an 8m x 4m swimming pool with a separate baby pool, sun loungers and boxing bags. BOXING Fully equipped for a fantastic boxing camp to improve your strength, speed & endurance. Professionals to guide you through a highly intensive work out and to improve your skills on a one to one basis. All levels welcome. There are 4 Boxing Bags, skipping ropes, pads, gloves, medicine balls, weights & 2 speed balls. GOLF The Costa Del Sol is renowned worldwide as one of the best golfing zones in Europe. There are more than thirteen golf courses in easy driving distance from the property. The closest & most original, founded in 1976 is the Mijas Golf course with its two, eighteen hole courses, the Los Largos & Los Olivos Before heading out for your days golf you can enjoy your morning coffee tightening up your putting on the 7 hole green on the west terrace of the villa.
