About Weather/Climate/Temperature
In Summer you can expect glorious sunny days and blue skies, with temperatures to range from average highs of 27-32degrees. This season does receive the least rainfall for the whole year, with the driest months being July and August. You can expect up to 12 hours of daily sunshine hours. The hottest month is August with June being the coolest. Sea temperatures range up to highs of 25 degrees.
In Autumn temperatures start to decrease with September reaching average highs of 28degrees but November dropping to average highs of 19. This season is quite wet with between 4 to 6 days of rain each month. The most rain falls within this season with November receiving the most rain than any other month of the year. Sea temperatures become cooler dropping to 180C in November.
In Winter temperatures are no higher than 16 degrees. There are usually around 4 days of rain per month and between 6 and 7 hours of sunshine hours per day. Sea temperatures are the coldest in this season dropping to around 14 degrees.
In Spring temperatures slowly start rising reaching averages of 20 degrees in May. May is the wettest month in this season but then precipitation does start to decrease quite a lot. Daily sunshine hours begin to increase again and you can expect between 9 and 10 hours of daily sunshine hours in April / May. Sea temperatures begin to rise again too making their way up to mid 17 0C.

About Beaches
There are 2 EEC blue flag beaches , both sandy, within 10 minutes walk, the southern one situated in a protective cove with a small marina and overlooked by a renowned sea food restaurant. The beaches have beach bars where you can buy snacks and refreshments.
About Golfing
There are excellent, reasonably priced golf courses nearby. Most have a 'walk on' policy after a certain time of day. This varies according to course, time of year and day of the week. Nine holes are usually available at any time during the off-season.
Clubs, trolleys, electric trolleys and bags are all available for hire at the pro shops.
