The décor is delicious, the bathrooms snug and spotless, and Katie fills the rooms with flowers: she also arranges the flowers for Canterbury Cathedral. Dinner I followed by coffee and chocolates in the drawing room rich fabrics, shelves of books, fine watercolours, much-loved antiques. . Outside , stunning hedges and lawns and a terrace for tea in the summer. An enchanting home in a farmland setting, and the area hums with history. Minimum stay two nights at weekends April-september. Pets by arrangement.
