Originally built in 1915 as a summer beach home, the Fig Tree Inn is a lovely old cedar shake shingle cottage in the traditional Southern beach style. In 1997, an extensive but extremely careful remodeling project was begun. The original wooden floors walls and ceilings were refurbished in beautiful and serene colors. Central air conditioning, new plumbing, and a modern kitchen were installed with as much care taken to retain the homes unique flavor. The result is a charming Bed and Breakfast with six bedrooms, each with a private bath. A lovely living-dining room and a wonderful porch where you may enjoy breakfast.
