About Weather/Climate/Temperature

The weather in Gozo is generally warm and very nice between April-June and between September-October. During the months of July and August it will be very hot with temperatures rising above 35 degrees Celsius. From November until March the weather is normally cool with the exception of some days when its very cold.

About Beaches

In Gozo one can find a selection of both sandy and rocky beaches all over the coast. A sandy beach to look out for is Ir-Ramla.

About Family Activities

One of the main attractions in Gozo is definatley the "Ggantija Temples" which are the oldest free standing temples in the world. Other attractions include the "Citadella" and the Azure Window at Dwejra. One can find various other attractions on the other larger island of the Maltese archipelago which one can get to by a 25 minute ferry trip.

A ferry service works between the island of Malta and Gozo every 45 minutes during the day time and every hour and a half during the night
