A lovely part fo England, with great walking on the doorstep, but in this cosy town house you get a few urban treats like a good pub next door and tea shop below. Breakfast is hearty with organic leanings, there's a little guest sitting room for flopping and your bedroom is deeply comfortable : posh mattresses, lovely linen, fluffy towels, views over the town to the Longmynd hill range and a Victorian feel with the odd splosh of contemporary chic. Bathrooms are fairly modest and not state of the art , but all are scrupulously fresh, and Linda a Shropshire lass looks after you impeccably.
