Eagle Villa is the perfect accommodation for families and golfers alike. It is well-equipped with 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a large garage and an (optionally) heated swimming pool. For families, it is situated in the middle of the theme parks of Orlando, offering an ideal location from which to explore all that these have to offer. For golfers, Eagle Villa sits on the fairway of the highly rated Southern Dunes golf course.You can enjoy a fantastic day's golf on this pristine course and then stroll back to your villa to relax and recover by the pool! Pool and spa The pool and spa provide stunning views out onto the beautiful 16th hole of the Southern Dunes golf course, whilst maintaining full privacy with neighbours left and right via a mature yet unobtrusive hedge, a feature which is not common with resorts of this type. The sunsets can be enjoyed sipping a cocktail either in the spa or lounging in one of the many recliners, whilst watching the progress of golfers finishing their round unaware of your presence tucked away behind attractive landscaping, trees and shrubbery. There is a large patio area ideal for eating out with direct access to the dining area and kitchen. For a small cost the pool can be heated providing a wonderful play area for all the family to enjoy, or for couples and adults alike to relax and unwind after a hard day’s golf or visiting one of the many wonderful theme parks close by. For families with small children it should be noted that all doors and entrances to the pool area are independently alarmed, providing instant warning should someone make their way out to the pool without adult supervision. Bedrooms and bathrooms There are four bedrooms at Eagle Villa, two doubles and two twins, with one double being ensuite, whilst two further bathrooms service the other three bedrooms. The master bedroom is beautifully proportioned with a king-sized bed, a large walk in wardrobe and a huge ensuite bathroom, with ‘his and hers’ washbasins and a large separate shower situated next to an oversize bath. The bedroom has double sliding doors that look out onto the swimming pool and the golf course beyond. This bedroom is opposite ‘The nook’, a second living room, and a little apart from the main living room and other bedrooms, affording an extra degree of privacy within the house, should it be required. The other bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with the two twin rooms situated off an inner hallway and close to each other, separated only by a shower room, an arrangement which is perfect for children. The remaining double bedroom, with queen-sized bed, looks over the 16th fairway and is tucked away at the far end of the house, off another inner hallway, alongside the remaining shower room. This has double access, with a door opening out onto the swimming pool area allowing those using the outside facilities to have easy access to a bathroom. All the bedrooms, and indeed all rooms, in the house have ceiling fans that compliment the efficient air-conditioning. There are large storage cupboards and wardrobes, spare sheets for beds and lots of towels for personal use. The living rooms Eagle villa is amongst the most spacious of 4-bedroomed villas on the Southern Dunes resort and one reason for this is the second living room – ‘the nook’! The main living room and the nook are both extremely comfortable with numerous sofas and arm chairs in which to relax. Both rooms have large flat screen TVs, benefit from cable television and each enjoy DVD players. There is also an Ipod player and a portable CD player should you wish to take this out by the pool. Between the nook and the main living room is the dining area with double sliding doors leading out to the pool area which also benefits from tables and chairs on which to enjoy lunch or dinner al fresco! The dining table can seat eight comfortably and the ‘best’ crockery is at hand should you wish to entertain in a more formal manner. The Kitchen The kitchen is really very well equipped with everything you will need to make your stay an enjoyable one. The American style fridge-freezer will provide ice and cold water to order whilst the enormous oven and hob will satisfy anyone wishing to cook. The open-plan nature of this area allows the house to flow from kitchen through the living and dining rooms out into the pool area, but tucked away at the other end of the kitchen is small utility area with large washing machine and separate dryer. This then leads out into the double garage which benefits from automatic opening door to allow easy access and parking of your vehicle. Leisure in the community Eagle Villa is situated a stone’s throw from one of the three club houses on the Southern Dunes resort. This provides a large open air pool for the times when you wish to enjoy more space or, indeed, should you be keen to swim more seriously. There is a small gym inside the clubhouse with an access code, that can be provided for guests on request, and a reading room where you can borrow any number of books to while away the time. The main clubhouse for the golf course enjoys a sociable bar with a lively atmosphere and a restaurant that is both good value and good quality. The golf shop situated alongside is well stocked and will provide everything you need should your stay be based around playing golf on Southern Dunes or indeed enjoying many of the other courses close at hand. Southern Dunes golf course is a wonderfully well maintained, beautifully attractive and challenging course. It has been voted amongst the top ten golf courses in Florida by The Golfers Digest and this is indeed well deserved. You would have to travel a good distance to find a course better than Southern Dunes.
