Kuranda Villas consists of two fully furnished and self-contained holiday villas in the centre of Kuranda, within walking distance of all the attractions within the village. The Kuranda Scenic Railway and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway are just a 5 minute walk from Kuranda Villas. The villas have been tastefully decorated and include those extras which make a stay perfectly comfortable. Villa 1 has two bedrooms and will sleep a maximum of 4 guests. Villa 2 has three bedrooms and will sleep a maximum of 5 guests. The villas have full kitchens with all the necessary crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans. We supply some basic provisions for your comfort and to help you settle in on your arrival, such as extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper, sugar, locally grown Nerada tea and locally grown and roasted coffee from the Kuranda Coffee Republic. Complimentary Port is provided. All linen, bedding and towels is supplied and there is a front loading washing machine and dryer provided. For families with very young children there is a portacot and high-chair available, upon request. Both villas feature an outdoor seating and BBQ area, the optimum way to enjoy the small lush tropical gardens. You will be enchanted by the abundance of native birds feeding on a variety of flowering trees and shrubs. A compost bin is provided in the garden so that guests can dispose of their fruit and vegetable matter. Since June 2009 we have arranged to have a rainforest tree planted locally for every confirmed booking we have received, as our way of giving something back to the environment and reducing our carbon footprint. There is no need for air-conditioning in Kuranda as it is much less humid than Cairns and the tropical coastline as it is over 300 metres above sea level. CHILDREN & EXTRA GUESTS Each additional person is charged at $25.00 a night. Infants are not charged for if they share existing beds with parents, or if you bring your own portacot and bedding for it. Otherwise a charge is made for the portacot and its bedding. NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED INSIDE THE VILLAS CAR PARKING DETAILS There is undercover parking next to each villa.
