Gite des Forges is located in a quiet lane only 500 metres away from the centre of the pretty small town of Angles, near to the seaside resort of La Tranche sur Mer in the Vendee region of France. The accommodation is laid out over one floor and benefits from a very sunny courtyard garden, complete with al fresco dining area and sun loungers for your use. Inside, there is a living/kitchen area with sofa, large dining table and chairs and a fitted kitchen - with a built-in electric oven, induction hob, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. There are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with 3 single beds, and along the corridor there is a shower room with hand basin, WC, shower cubicle and washing machine. Pillows, duvets and bed spreads are provided, but please bring your own pillow cases, sheets and duvet covers, as well as towels. Within the village there are many local shops (bakery, butchers, fish monger, florist, and supermarkets) as well as bars, restaurants and a weekly market selling lots of local produce. The beaches are only a 10 minute drive away and you will be spoilt for choice in which one to visit - you can surf, relax, make sand castles, explore the rock pools or join in with some of the organised beach entertainments.
