Full length glass doors open up to a balcony which floods the bedroom with sunlight and brings in breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, mountains and islands, this is the perfect spot to enjoy the sun. There is a tiled shower room with corner shower, heated towel rail and beautiful marble mosaic flooring and just outside is a space for the washer/dryer. The open plan living area is furnished in a beautiful contemporary style and comprises a fully fitted kitchen, with oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and all the utensils you need to prepare a delicious feast on your holiday. There is a dining table with four chairs and the living area is equipped with a flat screen TV, DVD player, elegant lighting, comfortable chairs, a 2 seater sofa which converts to a double sofabed and a further chaise longue converting into a single bed if twin beds are required. Glass doors lead out from the open plan living area to a furnished second balcony overlooking the sea. This balcony is in a great position to enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the sea and islands and the last of the sun as it dips behind the mountains in the evening. There is a clubhouse restaurant and cocktail bar overlooking the 25M communal infinity swimming pool & Mediterranean beyond, plus a small kiosk selling essentials on the resort. Kalkan's Old Town with restaurants, shops, beach & harbour is around a 3-4 minute drive from LaVanta, so we would recommend car hire, or the bus service*. *There is a daily bus service to Kalkan's Old Town, Patara & Kaputas beach. There is also a weekly service to Saklikent, Xanthos & Fethiye. Apartment Åžafak is fully air-conditioned and is in very close proximity to the huge communal pool. Kalkan centre is just a 3-4 minute drive and the ancient ruins and award winning sandy beach at Patara is easily reached in a few minutes by car;- making it a great base for your holiday in Turkey.
