Christiana’s Cottage is named after Prioress Christiana who ruled the Priory from C1172 and is the first Prioress for which we have records. The cottage is open plan in design with a kitchen/6 seater dining area and lounge areas. It has 2 double bedrooms and 1 single to sleep 5 persons, one double with a King size bed, the other a four poster . The master bedroom has an en-suite with a shower. There is a separate bathroom. The cottage features high beamed ceilings and french windows leading to a private garden with open views over fields and woods. From the cottage you have access to a communal Cloisters Garden where you can walk or sit and relax whilst you view the magnificent original 12 century Priory presently under restoration. It is an unusual feature of each of the cottages that they are themed in different styles. They feature the best from home and Europe. Christiana’s Cottage has contemporary ITALIAN furniture, soft furnishings and accessories. The emblem for this cottage is the Corn Poppy.
