The apartment is situated on the third floor with lift access. A large roof terrace with shared barbeques has the most fantastic panoramic views. Just 45 minutes from Lisbon Airport, situated in the small village of São Bernardino, São Bernardino Beach is a fantastic area approximately 12 km south of Peniche. The sandy beach is smaller and more private than Praia da Areia Branca,sheltered by the lovely cliffs that surround it yet still retains a welcoming environment. The average summer seawater temperature is 17-18 ºC. The village has a couple of cafes, a small supermarket and restaurant. In nearby Praia da Areia Branca there is a beautiful beach promenade with plenty of small cafés, good restaurants and other facilities. Larger supermarkets are located just 11 kms away in Lourinha. Further amenities, such as cinemas, are found in the surrounding towns of Lourinha, Peniche and Caldas da Rainha.
