Kastell Briant Cottage is only a 10 minute drive from the historic town of Châteaubriant, with its medieval streets and central castle ruins and museum. This is a vibrant town, with many restaurants and entertainments laid on throughout the summer months. The Cottage has recently been completely renovated by the current owners, and is now a very comfortable three bedroom gite, set in a small hamlet and with great views over open countryside. A great place for a relaxing, 'getting away from it all' type of holiday, with walking, cycling and site seeing a 'must'. Interior features: Kastell Briant has been recently restored by the current owners and has the following: - Open plan ground floor with comfortable seating area, UK free to air TV channels, DVD player & Films. - Newly fitted kitchen and breakfast bar. - Large Conservatory to the rear of the cottage, with dining table and chairs, as well as a toy cupboard. - Upstairs there are three bedrooms - 2 with double beds, and 1 with a single bed and cot. - Bathroom has full-sized bath, with overhead shower, hand basin and WC. - Bed linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own cot linen. - Internet Connection is available in the house Exterior Features: Outside there is a large landscaped garden that is shared with the property owner's father who occasionally lives next door. There is an acre of garden and plenty of space to run around and play. The garden has a barbecue, along with a patio table and chairs. There is also a large chalet in the garden, full of toys and bicycles (2 adults & 2 child size.), and a paddling pool for those long hot summer days. The views from the garden are stunning; with a wide panorama across rolling fields and valleys. The property owners have created a lovely garden, with many large flower beds and a huge lawned area. In front of the cottage is a gravel courtyard where you can park your car in complete safety. Further details - Garden is shared with property owner's parent who occasionally lives next door (English speaking) - English speaking representative available to offer advice and help during your stay. - Smoking is not allowed inside the cottage, but is allowed in the gardens. - Some pets may be accepted, please contact us with requests.
