De Kleine Oele" (Meaning 'the little owl') is a traditional Dutch grounds cottage available for holiday rental, inspirational retreat, selfcatering or bed&breakfast, in magical garden in the real, ultimate Dutch countryside: amidst the black and white cows and bulbfields... It is situated next to our farmhouse style home bordering on the Reestdal Nature Reserve in the province of Overijssel (ca 1.5 hrs from Amsterdam). 30 km from the German border, exactly in between the cities of Groningen en Nijmegen, it is the perfect central position for interesting trips in all directions of the Netherlands and beyond. The famous village of Staphorst is a bikeride away. The direct area of the villages of Balkbrug and Dedemsvaart provide shopping, restaurants, pubs, a coffeeshop, and dance venues. Sleeps 2-6 easily, (2 double bedrooms, 1 single and several foldaways). Number of sleeping places can be expanded for small groups. Ideal for romantic getaways, families, meets, vocational groups, etc (tents may be pitched in back garden) Layout: Entrance hall, livingroom with open kitchenette, on the right side bathroom (sink and shower), seperate toilet, alcove room with small 'baking house' annexe with single bed. Left side: Small, opening conservatory with lounger. Upstairs: Open double bedroom, landing with storage space and foldaway bed, second double bedroom. Garden: Just seperate from the cottage is an extra garden room with double sofa bed and woodstove. This room can be rented for an additional 50 eur. to create more sleeping space, as a seperate workroom (desk provided if wanted) or chillout room. The room has a woodstove. The house is basically but completely and comfortably furnished. All gas appliances function on natural gas, so no changing of bottles. Amenities and Inventory: -Full gas operated central heating, with adjustable radiator in every room. -C.v. operated continuous hot water. -Extra electric kitchen boiler -TV with Digitenne sat. with Dutch and International Channels including BBC, CNN, Fox, Comedy Central. -WIFI wireless internet for laptops etc. at no extra charge -Microwave, retro gas cooker with oven, filter coffee maker, glasses, crockery, pots, pans and kitchen utensils -synthetic duvets & pillows -Garden furniture -Bicycles on request. -'baby gate' on stairs -baby-toddler cot, baby bath, high chair available. Smoking is not allowed in the cottage itself, but is allowed in the conservatory and garden room. Extra charge for dogs is 10 eur. Bicycle rental available for only 5 EUR per bike per day or weekend or 10 EUR for a week.
