Pear tree Cottage is a fully restored early New Zealand colonial cottage that is actually almost the size of an average house, incorporating all contemporary comforts. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a double and a single. There is also a lounge with a large open log fire and a bar, large "farmhouse" style kitchen/dining room, bathroom with a large "claw foot" bath tub as well as a separate shower, separate toilet and laundry. Centrally heated throughout. Set among extensive gardens, also private to the guests, on a large rural property just 12 minutes from Queenstown and in the centre of the attractions of the district. The "Cottage" faces north (full sun) with the view filled by the Coronet Peak Ski Area. The hosts, Terry & Erina McLean, live in a separate cottage 50 metres away, close enough to be at your beck and call, far enough away to leave you to total privacy.
