Seward's weather is quite mild most of the year. Summer is not usually hot, but given global warming, it's not a bad idea to have a pair of shorts & a tee shirt just in case. Otherwise, just pack layers of clothes.

Seward is a great fishing port year round. Fish for halibut, king salmon, red salmon, silver salmon, rock fish, ling cod. There are a number of fishing charters available from half day to all day trips.
