The Heavenly Hana Inn is located in the lush tropical rain forest of Hana Town and is a unique Japanese style inn surrounded by Japanese gardens and ponds with the Pacific as a backdrop. The three suites have separate sitting rooms, bathrooms with soaking tubs and separate shower and bedroom. All in a Japanese style with shoji screens. The Inn is enclosed by a long rock wall and bamboo fence in the style of Katsura, the imperial palace in Kyoto. Within the wall and fence is a pedestrian gate with two life size granite spirit dogs (Kama Inu to guard the entrance). On either end are large hand crafted bamboo gates trimmed in exotic wood. The grounds of the Inn are Japanese style with stands of bamboo gracing the entryway of the pedestrian gate and the serene life size Buda that blesses all the guests. As you approach the entry doors you pass moss gardens that incorporate many of the tropical flowers of Hawaii. The gardens are aceented by a waterfall into a similar to that which you will encounter on your trip through the rainforest to Hana. There are abundance of fruit trees and plants that are the staple for the organic fruit plates served at breakfast at the Inn. (There is a charge for breakfast). The Heavenly Hana Inn is a non smoking Inn. Its interior is all wood. Consisting of spruce, pine, and fur walls that make up the "Great Room". The bedrooms and the remainder of the Inn is old growth redwood as is the exterior.
