Al-Dar self catering cottage is centrally located in the village of St. Keverne on the Lizard Peninsula in beautiful South West Cornwall the most southerly part of mainland England, close to shops and restaurant, also the two Pubs are only a stone's through away in the village square, Al-Dar has three bedrooms and accommodates up to 6 guests St Keverne is a peaceful, friendly village, it is within easy access of many beaches, fishing coves and coastal walks. The village has a store, butcher, newsagent, restaurant post office and two public houses which serve good food. Frenchman's Creek, made famous by Daphne du Maurier, Helford Passage, and Kynance Cove are among the many local places of interest, Truro, St. Ives, Penzance, Falmouth and Lands End are all only 40 minutes drive away. This unspoilt area offers coastal and inland walks and the opportunity to visit the many wonderful gardens of Cornwall including Heligan and the magnificent Eden Project. Various sized boats may be hired at the nearby Helford Estuary. Divers can explore the numerous wrecks and reefs along the coast including the notorious Manacles Reef where many ships have met their end. Dive charters can bearranged with Dive-Action diving services.
