Situated in fantastic countryside, within easy reach of all National Trust properties, hadrians Wall, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Holy Island and all the coastal attractions and much much more. Guests have access to the private grounds and the surrounding land (over 4000)acres which offers extensive wooded walks along the banks of the River wansbeck. The tranquility of the kitchen garden and grounds, the elegance and grandeur of the house provide a venue for a relaxing and inspiring holiday. meldon is ideally situated for golfing, fishing, riding and sailing. or you may prefer to visit country homes and gardens a spot of bird watching or a leisurely drive around the countryside. Why not bring your horse(s) on holiday and go wild in the country. Meldon Park has its own separate entrance, sleeping 2-4 people, ideal for couples or small families. It is furnished to the highest standards of comfort and offers central heating, televison and radio. Meldon Park comprises: entrance Hall, sitting room with wood burning stove (logs provided), sofas and dining table and chairs, kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer. Upstairs: Bedroom one with twin beds, bedroom tow with a double bed (all bedding and bed linen supplied), bathroom with bath and shower (towels supplied) and an airing cupboard.
