The Chestnut Inn is located a block from the waters of Narragansett Bay and a half mile from downtown Newport. We have two oversized Victorian decorated bedrooms with king-size beds in both. The large country style kitchen is open 24/7 and has cable TV. The wall of windows here looks out to the side yard and flower garden. Our livingroom is large with a wainscoat to ceiling library and accomodates 8 comfortably. The full bath has a jet tub for your relaxing moments. Our extended front porch with a gas grill is the favored spot of the inn. Everyone seems to gather there for sunset each summer night. We're a block from the water (Narragansett Bay) and a half mile from downtown Newport along the waterfront. We are kids and pet friendly here with a playground behind us and the ocean in front.
