Formerly a Gamekeeper's cottage, Lochead Cottage has recently been up-graded by the addition of extra space at the back to accommodate two bathrooms one on each floor as well as a generous sized modern kitchen. One bathroom has a bath and the other has a shower. The kitchen has enough space to be used also as a diningroom. The alterations have been carefully executed so as to avoid loosing any of the old cottage charm. The livingroom has an open fire (coal can be purchased from the Estate Office) and the rest of the cottage is heated by night storage heaters which are fitted throughout. One bedroom has a double bed and the other two have twin single beds. All beds are provided with duvets. You are asked to bring your own linen.
