And for safety reasons, we do have windows on 2 walls. Children may not be heard, but should be seen, especially young ones. And so they feel they haven't been slighted..they get a 60 channel TV, CD, DVD/VCR, two very large speakers, and a video game hook-up no fights at AN INTERLUDE!! **but the feature which caused us to buy the house in the first place is the layout. If you look at the pictures, you will see that the Kitchen, the dining room and the LR are all very nicely "together", so everyone doesn't have to hang out in the kitchen, and no one gets left out of the festivities.
