Horseshoe Cottage is a luxury cottage suitable for a couple, situated in the picturesque village of Town Yetholm, 7 miles from Kelso in the Scottish Borders. The former stable has been lovingly restored and we aim to achieve 5 star status from the Scottish Borders Tourist Board. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen and living room with wood burning stove to be installed by December 2004. Electric hob & oven, microwave, fridge & freezer complete the kitchen. Utility area houses the washer / dryer, and drying area for coats, boots etc. There is a walk-in wet room with shower, wc & basin downstairs. Upstairs is a large bedroom with king size bed, and en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath, victorian basin and wc. Unlimited internet access is available free of charge. There is a tv and dvd player, as well as mini stereo system with radio and cd player. Mountain bikes are available for guests' use - a refundable damage deposit is required. A cot and high chair are available at £10 per week. The generous welcome hamper includes a bottle of wine, box of chocolates, local honey, local chutney, border biscuits, bread, milk, eggs, bacon, tea, coffee & sugar, as well as shower gel, bubble bath and hand wash.
