It is a beautifully designed, luxury 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom villa standing in its own grounds having its own kidney shaped swimming pool. It is part of a secure complex on Polaris World at Mar Menor Golf Resort. It is built around a village centre and a 9 hole golf course, now being extended to 18 holes. The Resort now has a 50 room, 5* hotel, managed by Intercontinental Hotels. It has its own supermarket, pubs and restaurants as well as a large swimming pool, gym and other sports facilities at the Social Centre.
Villa Romar is ideal for up to 6 people. It is has air conditioning through out and has full central heating for the winter months. The flooring is local tiles and the bathrooms have marble floors and walls. There are ample power points and lighting, in fact there is everything you would expect to find "at home".
The comfortable lounge has ample seating for 6 has a TV, Video, DVD and most Sky channels. We can give access to a phone and internet connection. The fully glazed and covered terrace off the lounge is south and west facing, getting the sun all day - the same as the sun terrace above it on the first floor.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, grill, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine and fridge freezer. There are more than ample pots and pans and cooking implements.
The landscaped garden has sunbeds and shades, the pool is fenced and safe for children and there are toys and games and beach equipment along with cool bags and beach chairs.
The 9 hole golf course and driving range has been designed by Dave Thomas and is integral to the complex with its wide avenues and manicured lawns with pathways providing access to all the amenities. An 18 hole course has now been agreed.
It is just 7km from the sandy beaches of the Mar Menor and 15 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea. 45 minutes inland brings you to unspoilt Spain with its mountains and peaceful countryside.
Local Area DetailsIt is situated on a 9 hole golf course (soon to be 18)and at least 5 other championship golf courses are within 20 kilometres. There is a complete range of other sports facilities nearby. The Mar Menor sea has every type of water sport available and great beaches for relaxation.
Within an hour and half drive there are mountains, totally different cultures, water parks and theme parks for the children and of course 315+ days of sunshine per year.
If you are interested in culture and history there are cities like Murcia and Cartegena just over 20 minutes away. What more do you need? Peace and quiet? plenty of that as well!

About Airport InformationMurcia Airport - San Javier MJV - is only 10 minutes form the villa. Alicante is just under the hour. Most of the budget airlines now fly to Murcia, return flights are sometimes available for £35.
