Local Area Details

Casares village is one of the "White villages" and known for its true Andalucian style. Quiet bars and restaurants. Walk to the village every day - 15 minutes down the road and follow the dried up stream path - to collect the daily fresh fish or "wicked" pastry and fresh bread. If you come into Gibraltar, then stop off at the supermarket to load up , 40 minutes drive to the house - and you need never get in the car again. Lots of walking and bird watching. Also an activity company in Casares running mountain bike trips and walking etc. The beach and mad bars etc are only 15 minutes drive away. Our teenagers love the peace of the house - then travel to the coast every few days for their madness - but they quickly return to "Chill out"by the pool - and listen to the silence.
