THE COTTAGE (sleeps 4)
The Cottage, which sleeps four, has one double bedroom and a mezzanine with a further double bed. It has a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave. Outside on the shady, south facing terrace is a 'summer kitchen' with a B-B-Q, where you will probably choose to eat. The cottage has a wood burning stove making it an ideal place to rent in the early Spring and late Autumn, when the evenings are not quite as balmy as you might expect, or for longer house-hunting visits in the Winter. A part of the garden is taken up by a large pond which, although children find it and its abundant wildlife absolutely fascinating, probably makes the gites unsuitable for toddlers.

Local Area Details

Le Jardin de Cure is only two kilometres from the centre of Graulhet, a small town (parts of which date back to the 10th century) with two markets a week and plenty of good restaurants. We are right in the centre of the area that the French refer to as 'Le Pays de Cocagne', the Land of Plenty, surrounded by beautiful countryside and with it, the most fantastic wildlife.


Situated in the Midi Pyrenees, South West France, the Tarn region combines all the ingredients necessary for an authentic French holiday. Surrounded by lakes, mountains and forests, and within reach of historic cities such as Albi, birthplace of Toulouse Lautrec, Cordes, a fortified hilltop town, Castres, home to a wonderful collection of Goya's paintings, and Toulouse, the Tarn offers everything.
