Downstairs; Dining room with double sofa bed. Lounge with double sofa bed. There is also a well equiped kitchen.

Outside there is a small storage shed and a second WC Seperated from the cottage by a small garden with drying green and common courtyard.
Rose cottage is set back from Newburgh Main Street, where there is lay-by parking available.
Rose cottage was built around 1880 and has been fully renovated and refurbished.
Local Area DetailsRose Cottage is situated in the centre of the village of Newburgh, some 5 miles from Ellon,8 Miles from Cruden Bay and 13 Miles from Aberdeen. Is close to the beach and sand dune system, the River Ythan for the fishing and wind surfing enthusiast, Newburgh boasts an 18 hole Golf Course where there is also a Tennis Court available. Across the River lies the Forvie National Nature Reserve with its varied collection of river, estuary and ocean wild life.
Ellon complements Newburgh with its varied collection of shops, including a Supermarket, convenience stores, MacDonald Golf Course, indoor swimming pool, The Meadows Sports Centre, riverside and Buchan Way cycle & walking track (originally part of the old railway track) stretching from Peterhead to Dyce. There are also a number of excellent eating and drinking establishments to cater for most tasts. and in the village of Auchmacoy, just a few miles from either Ellon or Newburgh, a quaint country pub/restaurant.
Local Bus services connect Newburgh with Ellon, Aberdeen, Cruden Bay (where there are further Golf Courses)and Peterhead with links from Ellon to Fraserburgh, Inverurie and Dyce. Rose Cottage could also be a base from which to visit the Castle and Whisky trails for days out. Aberdeen, the Granit City, has a number of beautiful parks to visit, with the Rose & Winter Gardens at Duthy Park and the Rose Gardens Animal Corner at Hazelhead. Several Museums are also available in and around the City.
