Local Area Details

Sanibel Island is home to miles of white sand beaches. The island has been preserved (75% is preserve) to enhance the vacationers' visit here. There are over 30 miles of bike/walking paths. There is so much to do here - golf, tennis, biking, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating. Don't forget to see the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge where you can view hundreds of birds in their natural habitat as well as the occassional alligator.

The restaurants and shopping on the island are first class, too.
