Well behaved dogs are more than welcome; please add £20 per week for dogs. Sorry cats are not allowed.

PLEASE NOTE: There are restrictions on type of dog allowed on site such as Americas Pit bull terriers, Japanse Tosa, Fuila Brailerio, Dogo Argentina any any other type of dog which could present a danger or harm other visitors.

The Lodge is situated on South Lakeland Leisure Village, approximately one mile from Junction 35 of the M6 heading North along the A6 for 3/4 of a mile to Borwick Lane.

On site there is a Bar & Restaurant (Italian) and Lake where no motorised activities are allowed and also a small sandy area local to the Restaurant & Bar deck (to keep an eye on the little ones while you relax. Fishing is allowed on the lake, more peaceful areas of the lake can be found away from the bar area.

On site there is the Leisure facility "Pure Leisure", this comprise Pool, Steam room, Massage room, Gym, Fitness room & Beauty treatment facilities etc... please note the Pure Leisue facility is not within the rates quoted

Woodlands and wetlands around Silverdale
SLUMBERING above the shifting sands of Morecambe Bay is the delightful hill country of Silverdale. Here Lancashire merges into Cumbria in a succession of limestone crags and lowland ponds, dominated by the popular RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss.

Leighton Hall - On the great hill above the stately home there are panoramic views across the Bay to the Lake District. From here walking along the coast and along quiet lanes and paths through fields and woodlands are all possible.

Windermere and the Yorkshire Dales are less than 30 minutes drive away and the opportunities for leisure activities are unlimited for Walking, rambling, cycling, sailing, golf, fishing, windsurfing, climbing, and bird watching.

Opportunities for fishing are provided by Canal, Stocked pools, all within 1km of site. These being British Waterways latest fishery development at Borwick Waters (day tickets available at the waterside currently @ approx £2.00), Lancaster Canal and other local Privately owned stocked pools.

Sub Aqua
Locally there is the diving available at the Capernwray Diving and Leisure Ltd is a Superb UK diving site, with a purpose - built underwater theme park. Cycling
Enjoy the quiet country road around the site or travel further a field heading to Lancaster, The Lune valley, Kendal, Kirby Lonsdale, are all easily accessible and there is Sedgwick, Ambleside, Ulverston & Ingleton/Dentdale for the hardier riders.
