The flat has recently been totally refurbished and double glazed with a view to making it comfortable and enjoyable, and easy to run and maintain.

It consists of two double bedrooms (with single beds), one en-suite with a shower, and larger second bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower.

The sitting and dining room both face south with views to the May Island ? 4 ½ miles away in the middle of the Firth of Forth.

Throughout the house there is ample storage and hanging space. The kitchen faces north and is fitted with a dishwasher, waste disposal unit, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave and gas hob with an electric oven. The unit and controls for the gas central heating are sited in this easy to manage kitchen.

In the sitting room there is a radio/CD player, a colour television, video player and DVD with a selection of tapes. There is also a telephone for incoming calls only please. As the winter draws in there is a gas fire to supplement the central heating. In addition to coat hanging space in the porch there is a lighted and heated cupboard in the hallway where damp clothes and shoes ca recover. There is also a space in this cupboard for golf clubs, fishing gear, walking boots and outdoor wear.

The village of Crail is situated on the coast about 15 minutes drive from the famous St Andrews. Crail is known as the jewel in the crown of the small picturesque fishing villages that are strung along the coast of The East Neuk of Fife. Balcomie links... one of the oldest golf courses in Scotland are just 5 minutes drive from The Watch House. We have a folder at the house that gives lots of information of local castle/mansion houses and lots of other places of interest in the area.
