From your apartment, you can stroll into the town and down to the golden beach - that is, if you do not feel like lounging on the sunbeds by the swimming pool.
The nearby beach has excellent safe bathing and many watersports The resort is ideal for exploring this unspoilt island which is as Spain was 30 years ago. Excellent bus services go north and south - and, ofcourse there is all year round sunshine.
If you hire a car, even better - magnificent deserted coves, shipwrecks and wild cliffs are just a 30 minute drive away and roads are straight and empty! If you want entertainment, it is there - many places have live groups, karaoke, quizzes and bingo! But please do not expect Benindorm - this is low key to match the low buildings - not a high rise in sight!
You can hop over to Lanzarote for the day, go to the weekly market, go camel riding or explore little fishing villages.

Local Area Details

All water sports - wind surfing, jet ski etc - and the 18 hole chanpionship golf course is five minutes by taxi. There is also ten pin bowling, mini-golf, tennis and quad bike hire nearby.
